The “Dirty Dozen Garden Club” will begin meeting Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at the Stony Creek Free Library in Stony Creek and will meet each week through May 30. This community gardening workshop is free and open to all ages who would like to learn the basics of vegetable gardening. Please call to sign up as space is limited. The schedule is as follows:

All materials will be provided free of charge and gardening plots assigned to each participant. Children are welcome! The Crafty Creekers normal Monday night meetings are at 7:00p.m. at the Stony Creek Free Library. There is usually no cost to attend and the group is open to anyone wanting to learn to knit or crochet, practice other crafts, or work on holiday projects. Snacks are welcome and hot tea and coffee are always available. Call the library for more information 696-5911.
